Since almost 80 years, LEFFER represents technical excellence, reliability, and unyielding quality. Founded on February 1, 1946, by mechanical engineer Hans Leffer, the company remains 100% family-owned to this day and is managed by Hans Georg Leffer and Dr. Andreas Leffer. Our headquarters, with 35,000 m² of covered production space and a total area of 114,000 m², is located in Saarbrücken, near the French border.
With around 500 dedicated employees and decades of experience, LEFFER is a reliable partner for international customers in the fields of pressure vessels and heat exchangers, mechanical engineering, gas containers, steel construction, industrial assembly, welded products for defense technology, and solutions for the production, storage, and transport of hydrogen.

As a true one-stop shop, we design, manufacture, and test all our systems entirely in-house. Every step—from design and manufacturing to assembly and final testing—is carried out by our qualified teams in Germany. This ensures maximum precision, safety, and consistent quality.
