🔧2026 Apprenticeship Program at LEFFER!

We’re excited to welcome our new apprentices to LEFFER! To get to know each other, we all went together to the Völklinger Hütte World Cultural Heritage Site.

Hardly any other place fits our craft better: The Völklinger Hütte stands like no other as a symbol of the history of the iron and steel industry—and the metalworking industry is exactly where we at LEFFER belong. During a guided tour of the impressive steelworks, we even discovered a piece of our own company history: the disc-shaped gas tank that LEFFER built there many years ago.

In addition to the industrial history, we also took a look at the “Urban Art” exhibition—an exciting contrast between industrial culture and modern art.

We wrapped up the day together with lunch at the mill’s bistro—the perfect opportunity to get to know each other even better in a relaxed atmosphere.
