 World’s most powerful hydraulic casing oscillator LEFFER is already known as the manufacturer of the strongest and toughest special foundation machinery in the world. Due to the need to drill large diameter shafts of up to 3.3 m / ~11 ft down to 120 m / ~400 ft and beyond, it is indispensable to have a machine, which is capable of providing sufficient torque and forces to oscillate the casing string down to tip and recover it. To meet customers' needs, Leffer is building the strongest hydraulic casing oscillator in the world, which will be the model VRM 3300 T2300. This machine will supplies a torque of 23000 kNm (17,000,000 lbf-ft) with a lifting capacity of 11780 kN (2,700,000 lbf). Regardless of these impressive parameters, the machine can be handled like all other Leffer casing oscillators, with a transportation weight of 85 tons (≈ 190,000 lb). The general mode of operation will be similar to the other well-known Leffer casing oscillator models. To power Leffer’s hydraulic casing oscillators, Leffer also provides hydraulic power packs, providing enough hydraulic output to ensure an efficient and safe working process. All Leffer power packs can be equipped with Tier 4 final-certified diesel engines.
